Curtis, recognized as one of the Forbes 2021 - 2024 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" and one of AdvisorHub’s 2024 150 over $1BIL Advisors To Watch, graduated with a bachelor's degree in business and finance from the Marriot School of Business at Brigham Young University in 1997. Upon his college graduation, he joined his brother Charles Parry at a financial services firm and started working as a financial advisor. Curtis has earned the following industry credentials, some of which include the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificate, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designations. Curtis held tenures with Paine Webber, Wachovia and Merrill Lynch prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019. Curtis was also recognized as a Platinum Council member***. He grew up in the Thousand Oaks area and gives back to the community. Although-Curtis is not musically gifted, his wife and children all play the piano and at least one other instrument. That said, Curtis is philanthropically minded with his time and talent and is a founding member of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. And active in local ecclesiastical leadership, youth foundations and other worthwhile pursuits. When time permits, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with family and friends. Curtis is married to his college sweetheart, Shawna, and they live with their three children in Simi Valley, California.
